Since we were all in the usual Christmas stress towards the end of the year, Komage decided to organize a somewhat different Christmas party at the beginning of February this year. We were invited to a festive gala dinner. Also because 2018 was a special year for Komage: the company has existed for 110 years and 80 years in Kell.

For this purpose the baroque hall in the monastery Machern (Bernkastel-Kues) was booked and prepared according to the occasion. On 01.02.19 the time had come and a bus brought the staff safely to their destination. Each employee wore a blue accessory, since blue is one of the essential company colours at Komage.

After a champagne reception with appetizers, the celebration was finally officially opened by Margit Gellner-May. The varied and delicious buffet invited to feast. Afterwards, DJ Dominique Koch and saxophone soloist Dennis Kessler danced away the calories on the dance floor to hot beats. The celebration lasted into the morning hours of Saturday before the bus full of singing employees returned home.
