Ferrite and Magnets - highly attractive materials
Ferrites and Magnets - two different names and one common denominator: Their magnetic effect. Ferrites are temporarily magnetic, magnets on the other hand permanently magnetic. Both materials have a broad, versatile range of application in the industry.
They are popular in the aerospace- and traffic industry, but most of all in the electro-technical industry. The mass production of televisions, loudspeakers, dc motors or refrigerators can't do without them. Produced in large scale manufacture, they are an important part of globalised production. KOMAGE has been successful in the market segment Ferrite and Magnets for a long time. Most international customers appreciate the technical- and economic efficiency of our press systems.

KOMAGE-Presses: Profitable investments in future markets
Characteristic features of the compacts made of Ferrite and other magnetic materials usually require the use of specially equipped presses which accommodate the required automation level and the flexibility of the respective production task. Our hydraulic presses convince with flexible solutions and high productivity.
Because we know, that our customers do not only count on technology alone but also on the economic efficiency of the production process. KOMAGE-press systems are investments in the ability to compete on the global market.
International Electronic Company: Compacts of the extraordinary class
Our customer, a renowned, world-wide operating company, manufactures electric cars in series production. For this, ferrite-cores had to be produced - however, not ordinary ones. Required was the biggest ferrite-core ever produced on a press, world-wide. A challenging task!
But that’s not all. Due to reasons of economic efficiency, the customer expected a new press system which could be integrated into the existing technology. The new system was suppose to be functioning according to the ejection method. The customer’s adaptor, however, which functioned according to the withdrawel method should still be used. KOMAGE was able to develop a suitable solution. A hydraulic press was used which was individually configured. This way, the linkage between the existing tools and new technology was possible.
The production process according to the withdrawal method remained integrated. The manufacture of products according to the ejection method was added. The advantage: The customer could do without the purchase of new adapters. The investment in the press system – about 500.000 Euro – paid off quickly.
Intelligent technology stands for economic advantage –KOMAGE presses are the best proof.
